Smooth...

Today we did 400m MGP and 10K pace alternating back and forth every 400m for 4 miles. After last weeks distaster on Tuesday I was a little nervous. However I am good at this kind of workout because it doesn't involve stopping. Jason and I rocked it - -were slightly fast on every lap and flying on the last 10K lap. Thanks Jason for keeping track of the laps. I love that workout - just relaxing for me going from one pace to the other. We easily could have done at least another mile but Jason smartly suggested we should stop while we were ahead. We averaged 7 min miles for the 4 miles. It felt easy. No struggling or fighting to maintain pace at all.

I changed a couple things in the last week. I have started an aggressive ankle flexibility routine and using the TP massage set up regularily. My left ankle felt more supple and functioned normally tonight. We also did some drills tonight - I think that helped loosen me up.
After the workout we headed off for happy hour - that was fun and gave me a chance to get to know some Team people I might not have talked to a ton otherwise.
Fabulous weather!!
