My whole day was off kilter because of 2 work related meetings that were held after I finished my usual night shift. I am also on call for court all week. So far no one has called. I decided last week when these meetings were called that I would not go to work tonight. I ended up having about 5 hours sleep today - not bad but my eating schedule was messed up too. We had a track workout today - I won't bore you with the details but I did OK considering I did not read the workout instructions properly and took 200m recoveries instead of 400m. To make the whole situation more ridiculous, I had the workout written down in a baggie and carried it with me the whole time. Needless to say the workout was tough and I was a bit slow on a few intervals. Oh well...hopefully I'll get one workout right before the marathon. I'm thankful for the extra nights sleep tonight.
