Procrastination

Holy crap, can I cut something close.  I became an American citizen sometime since the last federal election.  They gave us a voter registration card which I filed out of my brain.  Never bothered with any of the local elections.  So with all the upheaval in the world, I'm thinking that I had better vote.  I hear ads to get people to vote on the radio and on TV.  It's on the news.  Yesterday morning, all I knew was that I could register at Thundercloud Subs.
So I'm driving to work trying figure out where there is a TCS close to work so I can register...I'm feeling sick and a little worried.  I was feeling like I couldn't live with my self if the wrong candidate won by 1 vote (I know, that's not how it works here, but you get my drift).  Went to TCS on Lavaca, this was at 9pm - the lady said she was getting ready to call it a day.
Whew, got there just in time and registered.  I will sleep better today.  My goal is to go to early voting the FIRST day I can, not the LAST!!!
