Parrot Predictor

So yesterday after I entered the warm up/cool down miles I didn't bother to time, on to Breaking the Tape, I noticed my parrot predictor improved my marathon time to 2:49.  So I emailed them to find out why that was happening and it turns out the program calculates the fastest 26.2 miles you run each week and that is your marathon predicted time.  Interesting.  So when I run 4 miles in 00:00, the program is impressed and uses those miles.  The guy says they will add a filter to correct that!  Interesting thing is that my correct parrot predictor and the Macmillan predictor are identical and they seem to work on entirely different premises.
