Anyway, moving on...had a relaxed 5 miler with Silver dog tonight and actually felt pretty good. Rolled my legs and stretched this am and did a quick roll and stretch before I ran.
Things I learned this weekend. 20+ miles ain't all that bad no matter if you don't have the best day. It's just one foot in front of the other. Soaking at Barton Springs works. Getting enough sleep is critical - I slept 8+ hours each of the last 3 nights and I feel good. My diet wasn't great - you just don't say no when an 80 some year old offers you dessert - you just take a smallish portion.
After my feeling sorry for myself last week, I think I have things in line again and my priorities in line. Sleep, run, eat, work, ride the horse.
